Just finished reading Small Town Talk and was so impressed by your research, your insight and your recreation of the era. Woodstock comes alive in the book. I’m curious as to your reaction to the recently released documentary Once Were Brothers about the Band. Seems to be another in Robertson’s attempts to frame the legacy of the group on his own terms.

Thank you, Paul. I haven’t seen the film yet but I have no doubt it will be as self-serving as his autobiography was. I’m sure it’ll still be great to watch, given Scorsese’s involvement. Barney
